“ Great bar in downtown Ajijic. On Sunday afternoon we saw a great local rock band on rooftop patio. Also recommend the ribs and fries platter with cold Coronas. Friendly and fun atmosphere with an open air patio made for a safe Covid times outing. We will definitely be back again! ”
“ El Bar Co is a medium-sized venue well known to the lakeside community for providing quality local bands, adult beverages, and decent bar food. Situated on the second floor, the bar can host a pretty good-sized crowd, although this comes at the expense of personal space as the tables are quite close to each other. Service is decent, even if it is a bit slow, but that is more about being a bit understaffed, which is common at lakeside. Bands play at 3 pm to about 630pm and there is a good-sized floor for dancers. The early start time is great for the older crowds to get out and get some fun in before going out to eat (if you don't want bar food). Reservations are highly recommended. ”
